It started with a spreadsheet

During the 2024–25 Premier League season, two brothers created a simple survivor-style game. Every week, players picked one team to win. It was not fantasy football — no line-ups, no transfers, no captains. Just results, pressure, and weekly decisions.

The game lived in a shared spreadsheet, but it took over the group chat — from last-minute winners that staved off elimination, to being on the wrong side of another Manchester United meltdown. Every match mattered. That is when it clicked.

From spreadsheet to app

This style of game deserved more than a spreadsheet. We wanted to bring Premier League survivor pools to a wider audience, and build something that felt as intense as the football itself:

• Focused on match results — no player stats, no formations. Just outcomes and your ability to read them.
• Easy to understand — pick a winner, start with 13 points, survive as long as possible.
• Competitive from day one — every matchweek matters, and one wrong pick can change everything.
• No micromanagement — none of the time and research that Fantasy Premier League demands.

The goal was never to replace FPL. It is a complementary option for supporters who cannot get enough, and a less intimidating way in for newer fans.

Why we are building it

We wanted a game that is as intense as a knockout tournament, as social as a group chat, and as easy as picking a winner. There is no learning curve — just you against the Premier League.
